Thursdays, September 14, 21, 28, 10:30 am – 1 pm, Fiber and Thread

Explore the fascinating history of fiber arts and the work of contemporary visual artists who utilize textiles and sewing arts. Students will receive instruction in embroidery, needlepoint, crewelwork, kantha, and practical hand-sewing construction from multi-media artist Erica Lynn-Huberty, and will seek the understanding of these techniques in relation to visual art.  Materials included.  $150 | $95 Members

Fridays, November 10 and 17, 11 am–1:30 pm, The Art of Creative Writing

Write creative fiction inspired by From Lens to Hand to Eye: Photorealism 1969 to Today. Jen Senft will guide participants through unique exercises that spark imaginative stories. Enjoy friendly conversation and feedback in a small group environment.

For all adult workshops: Space is limited; advance registration and payment required. A cancellation up to 7 days prior to the first day of adult workshops will guarantee a 100% refund.
