After School Art workshops provide children with an opportunity to explore the exhibitions, discuss the works on view, and to create their own works of art.  These workshops are held once a week after school in four- or five-week sessions.  Projects developed for the workshop are inspired by the works on view and include painting, drawing, pottery, and sculpture. After School Art workshops are exhibition based and designed for children to have the opportunity to tour the galleries, learn about the works of art on view, and create their own artwork. Artist and educator Wendy Gottlieb leads the workshops and develops projects that include pottery, painting, and drawing.
