Join architects Maziar Behrooz and Bruce Engel, and Levi Shaw-Faber, editor of the new design magazine, End, in conversation about a revival of design publications as forums for critical dialogue on urban planning and architecture.

The program begins with a presentation by Behrooz and Engel of MB Architecture's Summer Studio, Restoring Forward: A Vision for East Hampton Village, which will be featured in the first edition of End. This proposal intends to revitalize the village of East Hampton and restore its original human character. Working as growth magnets, key buildings anchored to the north end of Newtown Lane will shift activity and density away from Main Street and provide space for civic and community engagement. New recreation and culture hubs, supported by new infill housing in the village, will make the village the town center that it was always meant to be. A safe and pleasant walking and bike path will connect the village amenities to new hydroponic block-fars and to the broader township. In partnership with The East Hampton Star

Copies of End Magazine will be available.

Winners of End's first annual East End Design Awards will be announced.

Space is limited; advance reservations are strongly encouraged.
