Jazz en Plein Air: Nilson Matta

Nilson Matta

2009 Grammy nominee, Nilson Matta, a creative force in the evolution and popularity of Brazilian Jazz in the United States returns for Jazz en Plein Air on Friday, July 29. This popular series brings many talented jazz musicians to the Parrish, selected by the East End's legendary Richie Siegler, jazz musician and founding director of Escola de Samba BOOM.

The Golden Pear Cafe will be selling food and drink specials, so come socialize, soak in the scenery, and have a glass of wine, to the sounds of summer.

Table Seating is reserved for Golden Pear Cafe patrons so guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to enjoy the live music from the terrace and the Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley Foundation Event Lawn.
