Sam Green and Brent Green: Live Cinema

Filmmakers Sam Green and Brent Green, while not related, are both known for their singular performances combining cinema, musical accompaniment, and live narration. This rare collaborative appearance at the Parrish also features musicians Brendan Canty (Fugazi) and James Canty (Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, The Nation of Ulysses), and Kate Ryan (foley and drums) for a program of short live cinematic gems.

The evening will include performances of Strange Fates, EE Chapter #2 and #4, and Carlin by Brent Green and The Rainbow Man's Ex, Planting Trees is a Utopian Act, and The Last Person in the San Francisco Phone Book by Sam Green
