The special connection and ongoing relationship between artist William Merritt Chase and the Shinnecock Nation are revealed in a talk by Chief Curator Alicia Longwell and guest curator David Bunn Martine, based on paintings and archival photographs on view in Every Picture Tells A Story, the reinstallation of the Parrish Permanent Collection.
